PASAE Uganda Membership

PASAE Uganda accepts various kinds of members from Students to Corporate organizations. Below are the details on how to become a member.
Membership criteria include students enrolled in accredited programs such as BSc degrees in Agricultural Engineering, Water and Irrigation Engineering, Biosystems Engineering, Agricultural Mechanization and Irrigation Engineering, Bioprocessing Engineering, and other related fields. Students pursuing certificates and diplomas in Agricultural Engineering and related programs at recognized colleges are also eligible for membership. Although student members do not have voting rights, they are encouraged to participate in PASAE Uganda meetings.
Criteria for membership include graduates of the following programs: A B.Sc. degree in Agricultural Engineering, B.Sc. Water and Irrigation Engineering, B.Sc. Biosystems Engineering, B.Sc. Agricultural Mechanization and Irrigation Engineering, B.Sc. Bioprocessing Engineering, diploma/certificate in agricultural mechanization and related agricultural engineering academic programs that shall be accredited by National Council of Higher Education (NCHE) from time to time.
Criteria for membership includes Educational, Research and technology Institutes / departments. Such membership will receive all communication from PASAE Uganda and may place an advertisement in newsletters but possesses no voting rights at PASAE Uganda’s meetings.
Criteria for membership includes Private Companies and Non-Government Organizations. Such membership will receive all communication from PASAE Uganda and may place an advertisement in newsletters but possesses no voting rights at PASAE Uganda’s meetings.
This will be accorded to those who have made exceptional contributions to the growth and practice of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering. These will be nominated and vetted by the executive committee.
Transfer Of Membership
Students can transfer to member upon attainment and presentation of relevant academic qualifications.
The Secretariat will receive and process all applications, which will then be approved by the executive committee. The entire application processing timeline will not exceed 30 working days from the day of receipt. The applicants will be notified of the status of their applications through official communication channels and phone calls.
