The Pan African Society of Agricultural Engineering Uganda (PASAE Uganda) is a society that links professionals in the broader field of Agricultural Engineering in Uganda to Pan African Society for Agricultural Engineering (PASAE). PASAE Uganda was founded and incorporated on the 14th day of November 2024 by Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB).
PASAE Uganda embraces professionals in the fields of Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation and Drainage, Mechanization, Soil and Water Resources, Land Resources, Agro-processing, Bio-processing, Environmental Engineering and Biosystems Engineering. PASAE Uganda has built a reputation as a leading platform for knowledge exchange, training, and collaboration. The society has diverse membership including practicing engineers, researchers, academics, students, and policy makers.
PASAE Uganda’s core activities revolve around professional development, research support, policy advocacy, and community outreach. The society operates on a membership-based model, with categories including full members (professional agricultural engineers), associate members (practitioners and stakeholders in related fields), and student members (enrolled in agricultural and engineering programs). Members benefit from access to a network of experts, training opportunities, research collaboration, and updates on advancements in agricultural engineering.
